ALTOS: Patented Automatically Locking Track Oscillation System
Altos track oscillation is available for attaching to any equipment that has a requirement for access to slopes of up to 28° and yet requires a level platform for the efficient operation of the engine and other moving parts.
The advantages of track oscillation is that the tracks ride easily over stumps, boulders etc keeping more of the track in contact with the ground, this increases gradeability and reduces the 'skiing' effect experienced with a more rigid track system. Taking the equipment to the worksite reduces the labour cost and increases output.

A tilting top table retains the efficiency of the engine and reduces downtime caused by uneven wear on moving parts.

Three models are available for fitting to machines giving a total operating weight of 1500kg, 2700kg and 4000kg.
Altos 27 has been fitted to Greenmech, TP and Vermeer wood chippers and is also available for fitting to drill rigs, stump grinders. post hole borers etc.
